Siegel JCC Website Policies

Class Registration

Classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Class sizes are limited to allow each participant to benefit fully from the program. Registration will close when maximum limits are reached; available spot will then be filled from a waiting list in the order that registrations were received. New classes will be formed when possible.

Class fees must be paid in full at time of registration. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card, American Express, check and cash payments. Registration is accepted only if membership dues are in good standing and in effect during the entire class term. A full family or single parent membership is required to register a child in a any class or program or a non-member fee will be charged.

A Full JCC Membership is required for all programs, unless a Non-Member fee is listed.

The Siegel JCC reserves the right to cancel a class due to insufficient registration. Refunds or credits will be made in this event. Individuals wishing to withdraw from a class or program must submit a written request prior to the first class. Cancellation requests received after the first class are subject to a 10% surcharge.

Security Policy

Payments

SiegelJCC.org has taken precautions to ensure that your transactions and personal information are safe. Your transactions with SiegelJCC.org are protected by a 128 Bit SSL Certificate, which is currently the highest industry-standard encryption system used across the web.

SSL stands for Secure Sockets Layer. It is a system which exists partly in your Internet browser and partly on our web server computer. It encrypts (or encodes) your signals before sending them to our system using a special algorithm that is unique to SiegelJCC.org. We use the latest 128-bit encryption technology to ensure that your information is sufficiently scrambled.

Please note that when you make a credit card purchase your credit card details are entered directly into the bank's systems and do not pass through and are not retained on SiegelJCC.org's systems.

Data Storage

Any personal information collected by SiegelJCC.org is stored on secure servers in secure facilities. Information stored on our web server computer is protected by firewalls, to prevent your data being accessed from any external computer. A restricted number of authorized SiegelJCC.org staff have access to this system.

Exclusions

While SiegelJCC.org takes responsibility for the security of your data on our systems, we do not take responsibility for any unauthorized access to your personal information or loss of or corruption of data caused by any computer virus or Trojan horse or via any system from an Internet Service Provider linking your computer system with ours.

If you have any reason to believe that there has been unauthorized use of your personal information, such as your password or credit card details, please notify us immediately.

Refunds and Replacements

Tickets

Tickets are non-refundable. Some classes can be refunded with restrictions. See Refund Policy below.

Refund Policy for Classes, Workshops and Outings

Refunds will be issued as per the terms of enrollment of the program, class or event. If a refund is issued, it will be given as a credit.

Membership

If my behavior is deemed inappropriate or detrimental to the well-being of the members or staff, my membership privileges may be suspended or revoked.
