Class Descriptions

 

We've got a class for every style of workout -- from upbeat to relaxing to strength-building group classes include Yoga, Pilates, Spin, HIIT, Barre, Bootcamp, Zumba, Water Aerobics, and more! Group classes are included in your membership, so hop in and have some fun! 

Group Fitness Schedule

Barre

45-minute no impact class designed to effectively strengthen, tone, and balance the entire body. The focus is on form and precision while performing small isometric movements with an emphasis on the core, arms, seat, and thighs. Each strength section of this workout is followed by a stretching section to create long, lean muscle without bulk.

Boot Camp/Interval

60-minute high intensity class consisting of interval cardio and plyometric drills and strength training.

Cardio Mix Up

45-minute class consisting of functional toning movements set to motivating music.

Head to Toe Aerobics

60-minute gentle class consisting of low impact aerobics and light weights.

H.I.I.T (High Intensity Interval Training)

50-minute high intensity class consisting of interval cardio, plyometric drills, and strength training, that will help you achieve your fitness goals. This nonstop workout is guaranteed to challenge you to become stronger, faster, and increase your endurance.

Low-Impact Combo

75-minute class consisting of low impact moves, weight workout, abs, and stretching set to lively music.

Mat Pilates

60-minute class aimed at strengthening and firming the core muscles, as well as the upper body. Posture, flexibility, coordination, and breathing are improved. This method, developed by Joseph Pilates, is based on eastern and western movement principals. This class practices the exercises on the floor on mats.

M.I.I.T (Moderate Intensity Interval Training)

60-minute moderate intensity class consisting of interval cardio, plyometric drills, and strength training.

Rise and Shine Yoga

60-minute gentle yoga class to start your day. Excellent for beginners.

Senior Exercise

60-minute class geared towards seniors with the focus on movement and functional strength. Chairs are utilized for those who cannot stand for extended periods of time.

Spin

45-60 minute class of no impact, moderate to high intensity workout on a stationary Keiser M3 bike. A variety of motivational music is used to simulate riding on both flat and rolling steep hill inclines.

Spin On Demand

Use one of our spinning DVDs available at the Fitness Desk to spin at your convenience. 

60-75 minute class consisting of high energy step routines, weight workout, abs, and stretching set to lively music.

Stretch ‘n Flex

50-minute class consisting of a variety of stretching, toning, and abdominal exercises.

Super Spin

90-minute class of no impact, moderate to high intensity workout on a stationary Keiser M3 bike. A variety of motivational music is used to simulate riding on both flat and rolling to steep hills. Participants can ride the entire session time or leave based on conditioning level.

Tabata

50 minute high-intensity interval training class. Various exercises are performed for 20 seconds on and 10 seconds off for 8 sets totaling 4 minutes. All muscle groups will be targeted for a fat burning, total body workout.

Totally Toned

60-minute class consisting of cardio workout with moderate weights to tone all muscle groups.

TSP - Tone, Sculpt, & Pulse

A total body strengthening class consisting of non-aerobic muscle toning exercises.  A variety of tempos are used to execute high repetition training through the use of weight bars, free weights & more for resistance. All fitness levels are welcome.

Yoga

Varied class times of Hatha yoga blended with a variety of styles that combine breath work with postures to achieve balance between the body and mind. Traditional Yoga asanas (postures) help participants gain flexibility and strength.

Yoga Flow

60-minute class including standing poses, balance, strengthening, and stretching poses, followed by relaxation.

Zumba

50-60 minute dynamic workout system that fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow dance moves.

Zumba Toning

45-minute Zumba class followed by 25 minutes of toning with light weights.


Water Aerobics Classes

Water Aerobics Schedule

Water Aerobics 

Perfect for obtaining aerobic exercise in a low impact environment. Our class focuses on stretching and loosening joints which can help with physical therapy, tight muscles, and arthritis.

Senior Aerobics 

Low impact, low intensity activity perfect for loosening muscles and joints. Our instructors use Arthritis Association sanctioned exercises in the class. Perfect for Senior Center Members!

Senior Deep Water Aerobics 

Arthritis Association sanctioned, low impact exercises in deep water that focus a little more on aerobics. Perfect for Senior Center Members! 

Aqua Zumba 

A “Pool Party” workout for all ages. Low impact, high energy, fun aquatic exercise to music!

High Intensity Deep Water Aerobics

A high intensity water workout in the deep end of the pool. Instructor focuses on toning and cardio using hand weights and noodles.
