ANN & ABBS GETTIN' ABS: DAY 4

Once again, we are not coordinated!!! But it doesn't matter. Because Sigfried has done it again.

8 AM is early for a workout. Yeah, we know we'll we waking up even earlier for classes like PoWer SPIN and Muscle Mania, but for now, it is tricky to find motivation so early... not so much when your instructor is the cheeriest person alive. Members approached Anna and me after class to ask us what staff member they should be complimenting him to; he's that good. If you're looking for a pick me up, read no more: you've already found your answer.

If you're looking for a workout, read on. Dancing Through the Decades incorporates dances from the 1950s to the present, taught through line dances and Zumba-like "follow the leader" dancing. I wouldn't say it's as strenuous as zumba or other dancing classes, but it's definitely tiring. You move throughout the entire hour, and your brain needs to stay focused and alert to follow the constantly changing dance moves. It's absolutely a wake-up, and it gets your adrenaline pumping. Plus, it's just fun. Who doesn't want to dance to the twist, electric slide, "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun," etc?

This week has been long and tiring, but we are so excited to start week 2 of Ann & Abbs Gettin' Abs on Monday with Pound at 5:30 PM. Have a great weekend!

What a fun class, only wish that the room was a bit larger so we had more room to move. Loved the music and the moves could be done by everyone. I lack rhythm and found it fun all the same.
