CANCELED Social Justice Program for High School Girls
Are you passionate about making change in the world, but don’t know where to start? Do you want to connect with other girls in grades 9-12 to discuss injustices we see in the world such as racism, sexism, and homophobia? Do you want to explore how to use the arts to DO something about it?
Join Andrea and Dana from JADE Arts Collaborative on Zoom as we begin to imagine how we can harness our creative energy into making a real difference in our community.
This program is for high schooler girls. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.
JADE Arts Collaborative is Andrea Jacobs and Dana Edell. With a combined thirty years of experience and research in theater, feminist antiracist activism, expressive arts, and youth development, we design and implement social justice based arts projects with teenagers and adults in collaboration with local community organizations.
