Babysitters Training

The American Red Cross Babysitter's Training program (r.25) is designed to prepare youth ages 11-16 to safely and confidently care for children and infants. The course includes hands-on activities, videos, and discussions to develop essential babysitting skills such as feeding, diapering, picking up and holding children, safety, and emergency response. It will also provide participants with the knowledge and skills needed to recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing, and first aid emergencies in children and infants.

Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Babysitter's Training certification valid for 10 years and a Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED certification valid for 2 years.

There will be a short lunch break, so please pack a lunch.

Cost: $125/Member, $150/Non-Member (Ages 11 - 15)
