KidsPlace After School Program

For Grades K-6

KidsPlace is an exciting and dynamic after school program serving children in grades K-6. KidsPlace provides children with an after school program unlike any other in the area. Our program is offered weekdays from 3:15 - 6 PM and follows the Brandywine Public School Calendar, with the exception of Jewish Holidays.

Our program offers a variety of activities, full use of our outstanding facilities, and a nurturing staff. KidsPlace offers the sound structure of staples like homework time and free play, while also maintaining a variety of daily activities (e.g. outdoor recreation, nature, arts & crafts, games, social time, swimming, and more).

Registration for the 2024-25 school year is open!

New Registration Process:

We understand the ever-changing schedules of our children and our families when it comes to afterschool sports and clubs, as well as work schedules. To be as flexible as possible, we have changed the KidsPlace registration options for the 24/25 school year. You can now register for any specific day of the week that your child needs care afterschool, whether it is one day per week or five days per week. You can choose your days for the entire year or only for select months, if you know your child will have an afterschool schedule change. The registration for each day of the week is built by the month and reflects those days that we will have KidsPlace. The fee for each month varies based on any holiday closures, which are also indicated during the registration process. Please be sure to check the program registration options and select all the days of the week you need, for as many months as you need them.

You will also be able to register separately for any Schools Out Days or Seasonal Camps we will be offering, which are based on the School District calendar of closures. We expect to have those calendars by the end of this school year, so watch for that registration to be available soon after.

Rates: $25/Day, billed monthly

Fees Policy:

KidsPlace fees are due 7 days prior to each month's start date.
Cancellations &/or changes can only be completed by the month. Cancellations &/or changes will not be accepted on a weekly or daily basis.
Cancellations &/or changes must be emailed to KP@siegeljcc.org ten (10) or more days prior to the registered month that needs to be changed &/or cancelled. All changes and/or cancellations are subject to a $25 administrative fee per instance of changes.
KidsPlace is not able to prorate, credit, or swap the monthly fee for any day(s) not attended.
If you need to cancel &/or change a monthly registration, and it is past the 10-day notice requirement, you will forfeit 50% of your fees.
Late payments will be charged a $25 late fee.
Drop-in days the week of needed care may be available for current KP participants depending on space. Please inquire as needed.

Transportation:

We may be able to offer transportation from select schools to KidsPlace. Please email us at KP@siegeljcc.org for more info!
We receive buses from Odyssey Charter School, First State Montessori Academy, Hanby Elementary School, Mount Pleasant Elementary School, and Claymont Elementary School.
We pick up from Albert Einstein Academy.
