Camp JCC hires people who are interested in being a part of a collaborative team atmosphere. Our staff team needs to be caring, honest, kind, flexible, and welcoming with all campers, parents, and fellow staff team members. The camp day is spent primarily outside except when the weather conditions require us to move inside. We look forward to receiving your application and learning more about you!

Summer 2025 Positions
inclusion COunselor (pay range $16.25 - $17.85/hour)
The Inclusion Counselor is responsible for promoting the inclusion of campers who need additional support in a fun, safe, and enriching camp experience. The Inclusion counselor will also need to orient, monitor, and encourage the campers through day-to-day activities. This individual will need to foster positive relationship skills between them and their campers, as well as between their campers and their campers’ peers. Click here for the full job description.
LEADER-IN-TRAINING COUNSELOR (pay range $16.25 - $17.75/hour)
The LIT Counselor is responsible for their assigned group of teens with concern for their physical, emotional, and social well-being. The LIT Counselor will deliver leadership activities and resources, program activities, and serve as a positive role model to the leader-in-training teens. Click here for the full job description.
Nature Specialist (pay range $16.25 - $18.50/hour)
As leaders in the Program Team, Specialists plan the development of a specific umbrella activity area, establish curriculum-based programs that reflect the goals and objectives of Camp JCC, and commit to the personal growth and overall self-image of our campers. Bunk Counselor (pay range $15.25 - $17.75/hour)
The Bunk Counselors are the primary people responsible for their assigned bunk of campers with concern for their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Bunk counselors need to be organized, have great concern for others, have the ability to have fun alongside their campers, and the ability to manage groups of kids with appropriate boundaries in a camp setting. Teen Trip Counselor (pay range $16.25 - $17.75/hour)
The Teen Trip Counselor is responsible for their assigned group of teens with concern for their physical, emotional, and social well-being. The Teen Trip Counselor will transport the teens in the JCC’s 10-passenger van to the area destinations, maintain positive & appropriate relationships with the teens, and be a positive role model with the camp values in mind.
