AQUATICS
Head Lifeguard
Under the supervision of the Aquatics Director, the Head Lifeguard is responsible for providing professional lifeguarding services and day-to-day leadership for the indoor pool. The Head Lifeguard ensures a safe, clean, welcoming, and well-maintained aquatic environment through effective surveillance, enforcement of safety policies, emergency response, and support of lifeguard staff. The Head Lifeguard will lifeguard at the indoor pool for an average of 35 hours per week during designated seasons, with remaining work hours dedicated to lifeguard leadership, training, equipment and supply management, administrative responsibilities, and other Aquatics Department needs. The Head Lifeguard will obtain an American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor certification and will plan and conduct lifeguard certification courses, in-service trainings, and other aquatic trainings as needed. Lifeguard - Part-Time
Under the supervision of the Aquatics Director, Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the safety of all patrons at the JCC Indoor and Outdoor Pools by preventing and responding to emergencies. Lifeguards must enforce rules and policies, evaluate and resolve emergency situations, conduct safety checks, check and record chemical levels for the pool and help maintain the cleanliness of the pool, locker rooms and lost and found areas. Swim Instructor - Part-Time

Fitness
Personal Trainer - Part-Time

The J is looking for Lead Instructors as well as substitute instructors for all classes and levels, including HIIT, cardio, strength, spin, Zumba, and yoga. PROGRAMS
Assistant Program Director
The Assistant Program Director participates in the planning and implementation of a variety of JCC programs. This position works to develop new strategies and implement program ideas while also providing direct support to the Program Director. The Assistant Program Director will be responsible for engagement and outreach to J members and the broader community.
