Administration/Finance

Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer

The Administration Assistant will help support a variety of administrative functions (some responsibilities will include board, committee, staff, and member communications, ordering and organizing office supplies, maintaining calendars, providing IT support, clerical and data entry).

Early Childhood Center

Assistant Director of Admissions

The Siegel JCC is in search of an Assistant Director of Admissions for their premier Early Childhood Center. This is a full time, 12 months per year salaried position. The successful candidate will meet the Delaware licensing and NAEYC requirements for an Early Childhood Administrator and have previous experience in this role.

Recreational Services

Recreational Services Coordinator – Full Time

The Recreational Services Coordinator will be expected to create and implement new and innovative recreation programs. This position will entail occasional night and weekend responsibilities. 

Aquatics

Aquatics Associate – Full Time

The Aquatics Associate will act as the member liaison for the Aquatics Department and assist in a variety of administrative tasks. The Aquatics Associate also assists in managing and scheduling the lifeguard staff. This individual may also perform lifeguard duties and group and private swim instruction as necessary. Prior aquatics experience is preferred, but not required – training can be provided on the job.

Swim Coach – Part Time

Swim Coaches are responsible for planning and leading safe and effective swim team practices and meets to members of our Winter Swim Team. Prior coaching or swimming experience preferred.

Opening Lifeguard – Part Time (5:30 – 10 AM Monday-Friday, year-round)

The Opening Lifeguard is responsible for opening the Indoor Pool and aquatics areas on time and ensuring the safety of all patrons by preventing and responding to emergencies.

Lifeguard – Part Time

Lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the safety of all patrons at the Indoor and Outdoor Pools. Lifeguards must enforce rules and policies, evaluate and resolve emergency situations, conduct safety checks, check and record chemical levels for the pool, and help maintain the cleanliness of pool areas. Daytime availability preferred.

Swim Instructor – Part Time

Swim Instructors are responsible for planning and teaching safe and effective group and private swim lessons to the children in our community. Prior swim instruction experience preferred.
