JCade is an arcade style facility that uses interactive fitness technology to engage individuals and groups in physical activity.
JCade is a game room, classroom, and community room, which offers education and engagement to help people become more active.
The arcade atmosphere will attract you, while engaging your whole body in heart-healthy activity. JCade combines gaming and fitness systems that makes exercising fun and features the following equipment:
Xbox one with kinect and wii video game systems with a variety of Games
Classic Arcade style driving games
- Lightspace Play is a revolutionary entertainment system that combines the latest display and interactive technologies to produce a recreational experience that provides hours of fun for all ages. Lightspace Play includes an interactive floor surface comprised of programmable LED lit and pressure sensitive tiles. Each tile can display any color, pattern, or image. The surface is able to detect location, movement, and density of players to give a realistic gaming experience. Reactions to player movements are displayed on the surface and are accompanied by sound effects. The system is capable of storing and running a potentially limitless variety of games and interactive programs that can be used by any number of participants simultaneously.
STARTING FEBRUARY 11TH, JCade will be open every Sunday, 11 AM - 3:30 PM, for member use. Each week a new selection of games will be available on our 4 XBOX systems and the Lightspace floor and the car racing games will be on and ready for you to use! The JCade will not be staffed during these hours, but there will be a staff person periodically checking in to see if anything is needed. All youth under the age of 12 must have adult supervision at all times. Youth ages 12 and older may use the room without adult supervision as per the Siegel JCC age policy.
